One of the fitness magazines my husband subscribes to is Men's Fitness, which is for the most part a good one. The best things about it are the feature articles where they talk to celebrities or famous business guys about what fitness means in their lives. These are perfect stories, even for women because they really display how living a fitness lifestyle leads to great success and they also help with lots of motivation.
The last article they did was with LL Cool J and he gave six things that he lives by but I am going to alter these and use them as inspiration to give you six things you have to do to find fitness success.
Number one is keeping balance. Not just in life, but with your workouts. When it comes to working out, most women will over work the area that they want to see the most results in. But that will only lead to poor results and even an unbalance body, real fat loss and a symmetry come from exercising your entire body. That is why total body exercise routines are the key to success.
Second, it's imperative you celebrate when you hit milestones. Celebrating can be hard because most women will not want to tempt themselves with bad foods or drink and some women will go overboard when they celebrate as well. It's important to never lose your lust for your favorite foods or drinks. Make sure you also share your success with other people in your life because you never know when you will become the inspiration for somebody else to make a great change.
Third, learning is never done. This is why it really helps to have a trainer or some community to be part of. It's always great to learn new recipes, foods, and workouts or exercises which can help you get better results faster. This will pretty much guarantee that you always have a great time living a fitness lifestyle.
Fourth, let things happen. So many women want to see immediate results, but that won't happen. You have to learn to get involved in and enjoy the process, as you do that the success will naturally come. It really is that easy, just give into what you're doing, do it, and you'll get the results you want every time with no doubts at all.
Fifth, it's good to force yourself to do something when you really don't want to do it. There are always going to be times when you don't want to workout. A lot of the time it will be when you want to eat or drink something that is not part of the plan, but you want to so bad. But you can strength your self control when you actually force yourself to do what you know you should be doing. This is important and helps you build stronger character as well.
Sixth, never just set one goal. It's so important to be driven by the goals you set for yourself, but most women only end up setting one goal. After your initial goal, you have to keep setting follow up goals so that you are always striving to get better. As you keep setting and hitting new goals, you will end up with a body that will shock you and you'll be so happy you did. Just remember the secret is to be consistent and keep finding out how far you can go with your weight training for women.
