The father of fitness is no doubt Jack Lalanne He was a preacher of fitness training like never seen back in his day and during that time so many people were scared to try what he recommended. Jack, taught the fundamentals that to this day are used to lean out and stay healthy long into your later years.

The following are five lessons from Jack Lalanne that you can use to burn fat and change your body and life very quickly.

First is lifting weights. Pretty much everybody back in his day, even men, would never consider weight training unless you were a bodybuilder. Back in the day, people thought that weight training was bad for them, but because of Jack all of that slowly changed. However, as you now know, when you use resistance training not only will you burn fat really quickly, but you'll increase your metabolism, and strengthen your joints too.

Second, Jack was really into the right nutrition. He also popularized juicers because he was a big fan of fiber and healthy eating. He is well known for saying that you are what you eat and feel like what you eat. If you eat poor foods, you are going to act poor with not energy. When you eat really good foods, then you are full of energy and lively again.


Third, he was really the first to push women into resistance training and working out. Now women are more into fitness than most men. In order to get lean and sexy, women now know that weight training for women is absolutely key to success. Plus weight training is so efficient that you don't have to workout as long or as many consecutive days.

Fourth, Jack was a big inspiration for so many people by showing what was capable of a healthy body. He swam with his arms tied together while dragging boats filled with people. While you may not want to do that, you can use your own workout plans to inspire yourself to massive action.

He knew that the scale didn't give you any information that helped you track progress. If you lose muscle, you lost weight and most people think that is a good thing. You definitely should listen his advice and ditch your scale.
